hill city kids INTERNSHIP:
Hill City’s internship program is designed to give college-aged individuals an opportunity for hands-on ministry training.
What to Expect:
Work alongside Hill City Kids team to prepare classrooms for Sunday morning gatherings, including classroom cleaning and organization as well as weekly curriculum preparation
Assist in managing new family follow-ups each week
Grow confidence in classroom management, teaching abilities and child engaging communication techniques
Assist in ministry specific event planning and execution
Assist in writing and mailing birthday cards for kids
Assist in building volunteer schedules
Sunday Role:
Serve in Hill City Kids where needed
Internship Requirements:
Commit to 10 hours per week through the semester of your internship (plan for ~4 hours on Sundays)
Prioritize weekly meetings with your manager and weekly team meeting
Attend bi-weekly intern meetings, potentially including required reading beforehand
Assist in execution of internship promotional video for future internship opportunities
Assist Hill City staff as needed
Qualifications:
Strong organization skills
Responsible and self-motivated
Servant leader who is eager to learn
Enjoys working with kids
Availability to serve on Sundays
