Cultivate: Connecting With Our Kids Through Stories

Parents, not one of us is perfect and we don't have to pretend to be. Our inadequacies as parents only point us further to our need for Jesus. Cultivate is our platform for partnering with parents outside of Sunday gatherings. Our goal is to provide a time and space for parents to come together and learn from one another, while also enjoying a kid-free evening out!

As parents, we want to be present with our kids. We want to inspire virtue and train them in the gospel. But in the midst of our busy, technology-driven lives, connecting deeply with our kids is tough. One powerful tool that can help us make meaningful and lasting connections with our kids is stories.

Join us as we dive into a night of discussion, drinks, and hors d'oeurves around the book, The Read-Aloud Family, by Sarah MacKenzie. Royce and Melanie Moore will share what got them excited about reading aloud with their kids and lead a discussion of how we can all connect more deeply with our kids through stories.

Thursday, May 9th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm
At the home of Lee and Jenn Fraley in East Springfield.
